Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our authentic Boleslawiec stoneware.

Is your pottery microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe?

Yes. All authentic Polish pottery from our outlet is fired at extremely high temperatures, making it safe for use in the microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and oven (up to 480°F). We recommend allowing the piece to come to room temperature before placing it in a preheated oven.

How do you ensure fragile items don't break during shipping?

We are experts in shipping ceramics. Each piece is individually wrapped in professional-grade bubble wrap and secured with eco-friendly packing peanuts in heavy-duty corrugated boxes to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

What is the difference between 'Quality 1' and 'Quality 2' items?

Quality 1 items are top-tier pieces with no visible flaws. Quality 2 items may have minor aesthetic imperfections, such as a tiny smudge in the hand-painted pattern or a small glaze skip, but they are structurally sound and fully functional.

Are the paints and glazes lead and cadmium free?

Absolutely. All of our Polish stoneware is handcrafted using natural clay and non-toxic, lead-free, and cadmium-free glazes, making them 100% food safe and environmentally friendly.

What is your return policy for damaged or unwanted items?

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in their original condition. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo of the breakage, and we will issue a replacement or refund immediately.

Can I use my Polish pottery on a stovetop or open flame?

No. Polish pottery is designed for convection and conventional ovens, but it should never be used on a stovetop, grill, or over an open flame, as direct, concentrated heat can cause the stoneware to crack.
